Everyone knows that we LOVE Telecaster® style guitars. However, sometimes it's cool to shake things up a bit. While keeping everything that makes a Tele the best electric guitar ever designed, we added a little offset swagger to this one. Matching the vintage pinup waterslide decal on the back and the many stages this one is likely to see in the future, we call this one "The Traveler".
 
It is sporting a hand selected alder body that we sent to MJT for a spectacular aged paint job in charcoal frost. For the neck, we contacted our friends at PST Guitars in George, VA and asked them to build us something special - and boy, did they deliver: The neck is a masterpiece made from a quarter sawn figured White Oak shaft and a Shedua fretboard (21 #6150 frets, 12" radius, 1-11/16" nut width, medium C profile, 1st fret: .0825", 12th fret: .90"). It feels and plays fantastic!
 
We loaded the body with one of our handwound Vintage Inspired Pickups "Fang" bridge pickups and one of our handwound VIP90 pickups at the neck. The electronics include two selected 280k VIPots and a NOS .047 PIO cap.
 
The hardware is top notch (mostly made in the USA (bridge with brass saddles, control & neck plates, knobs, plus high end Gotoh SGS510Z tuners).
 
This is an amazing Rock 'n' Roll guitar that plays great, sounds huge, has sustain for days, and looks very unique and cool.
Like with all guitars, you may have to adjust the setup to your liking. As of now, it is set up with D'Addario 10s and plays effortlessly with low action.
 
The guitar will ship in a nice case that has a cut in one of the letherette edges (see picture).
