This guitar is a tribute to the version of the Telecaster that started it all - the Fender® Broadcaster.
The body was carved from hand selected lightweight pine that has been tastefully lacquered and reliced in butterscotch blonde nitro by our friends at MJT (our go-to shop for vintage style paint jobs). The neck is a real vintage Fender® USA neck from 1984 that a previous owner had put a "Broadcaster" decal on the headstock. We leveled, crowned, and polished the original frets in our shop, making it a joy to play.
We also equipped this guitar with our own custom made "VIPlate" bridge plate with reversed pickup orientation and an in-house handcut and lacquered real bakelite pickguard.
The pickups are our own handwound TELEX set with hybrid magnet setup (A5/A3). We also installed a set of matching 280k VIPots and a vintage .033 MFD PIO cap.
This VIP "Broadcaster" looks, sounds, and plays like a real vintage guitar.

Like with all guitars, you may have to adjust the setup to your liking. As of now, it is set up with Ernie Ball 10s and plays effortlessly with low action.

Return policy
We offer a 24 hr approval period on this guitar. The customer pays all shipping and insurance costs both ways. Before returning any item, customers must start a return request. Returned items must be in the same condition as when they left the store. Unauthorized returns will be refused and returned at the customer’s expense. Returned items are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
