The VIPlate is a custom made (here in the US) bridge plate for T-style guitars, made with the same steel as the original plates from the 50s.
Our buddy Richard Fortus (G'n'R) mentioned to us that reversing the bridge pickup would cure the main issues that some Tele bridge pickups have - loose bass and piercing highs. And boy was he right. We now exclusively use these on our own VIP Custom builds.
 
So we decided to make a limited run of these VIPlates, using the exact steel and thicknesses found in 50s Fender bridge plates, and added the option to turn your guitar into a top-loader.
 
The first run sold out faster than we could offer them on the website, so we decided to make a second run. We offer them with either brass or titanium saddles.
